The spatial coverage includes the territory of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, including adjacent lakes, as well as a 5 km buffer.Switzerland is covered by four satellite orbits, enabling complete coverage approximately every three to five days. The usability of the data depends on the meteorological conditions at the time of acquisition, as the sensor cannot see through clouds. One mosaic is created for each flight path. Processing includes: co-registration based on a SWISSIMAGE reference image resampled to 5 m (sub-pixel accuracy), reprojection into LV95, cloud and cloud-shadow masking according to OmniCloudMask, as well as a terrain layer containing the solar incidence angle (0–180°) and cast shadows (value 200), based on swissSURFACE3D. Pixel values of the reflectance bands are stored in scaled form (scale factor 0.0001, offset -0.1). This product (v200) supersedes version v100. Version v100 is being phased out until the end of 2026 and will remain available until then.
